💵Payment Information

Some customers in Japan and South Korea may occasionally experience payment failures. In most cases, this is because international payments are not enabled on the bank card, or overseas payment authorization has not been activated. If this happens, please try using a different bank card or contact your bank to enable international payments.

Some customers have also asked if they can pay in USD because they already have a USD account and would like to avoid the exchange rate difference between USD and their local currency. Unfortunately, Shopify automatically converts the checkout currency to the local currency based on the shipping address.

However, one of our Korean customers successfully placed an order in USD using the following method:

  1. Enter any U.S. address at checkout. Once the shipping address is set to the United States, Shopify will automatically switch the checkout currency to USD.
  2. Complete the order and payment in USD.
  3. After placing the order, send me your correct shipping address through the contact form on my website. I will update it manually before shipping.

Customers from other countries can also use the same method if they would prefer to pay in USD😊
